A quick hello
Been doing some knitting, some dyeing, some working and lots of packaging so not much time for blogging.
Dyed a glorious pot of Zephyr in a fresh green, an almost equally lovely pot of Cormo Lace in the same colour and some deep dark cherry red Cormo - all the products of a thankfully cooler Sunday.
Fresh Cormo:

Fresh Zephyr:

You should see the shine on the Zephyr!!!
Cherry Cormo:

Good enough to eat?
Knitting socks (still working on a toe-up heel that I like), a sleeveless top in a turquoise bamboo yarn (great drape and sofffft!) and the Hand Maiden Rumple mitred squares top (have reached the point of needing to decide what to do with the neck - a V - and the armholes - to trim or not to trim and if yes, then how to trim....)
Off to read for a bit (Julian Stockwin's "Kydd" - a tale of the sea set in 1793).
Knit on!
