My little Smudgie cat
Smudgie developed breathing problems over the holidays and we sadly decided that she had suffered enough. She is now flying around in kitty heaven with her angel buddies.
My heart is broken and there is a big hole in the house where she used to be.
Requiescat in pace, my sweetie

I believe there is a place in heaven for beloved pets, too. I always imagined that for cats, there is a nice sun-dappled garden to prowl, catnip to roll in and all the squeaky toys a cat could ask for. And a nice soft pillow to sleep on while your furry little angel waits for you to come home, so that she might crawl up into your lap for a proper nap when you meet again.
My sympathies, always a difficult decision, even when it is the right one to make. I miss all my fuzzy friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge.
